Education & Advocacy
The Education & Advocacy Committee plans and facilitates virtual, public-facing educational programs, such as book talks by academic and community experts, as well as reading groups and “how-to” workshops that focus on the skills and information that can help you advocate and organize. It also supports legislative advocacy by hosting call-ins and providing research and narrative-building support for Congressional visits.

Watch some of our education lectures to learn about topic such as; the history of immigration detention; healing and nonviolent direct action; the surveillance state and the War on Terror. All of these educational webinars can be viewed here on youtube channel, as well as other educational social justice movement related videos!
